Behind The Lens
I'm a 19 year-old photographer based in Bismarck, North Dakota. i'm a proud enrolled member of the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation. My journey into photography began with a simple wish: I wanted great photos of myself playing sports something to remember those intense, unforgettable moments. Now, I aim to give that same gift to others.
I’m especially passionate about capturing Indigenous culture. These aren’t just events I document, they’re a reflection of my identity. Whether it's the raw energy of sports, the vibrant traditions of my community, or the quiet emotions that often go unnoticed, I use my lens to tell stories that matter. Every photo is more than an image—it's a moment, a memory, a piece of who we are.
Still Moments, Moving Stories
I’m inspired by the loud, action packed moments, the kind that demand your full attention. But I’m just as drawn to the quiet stillness of a senior photo, where emotion lives in the subtle details. For me, the real story is in the in-between: the grit in a game face, the glint of light in someone’s eyes, the calm before the celebration. That’s where the meaning is, and that’s what I aim to capture.
Photography is how I express myself, and how I help others express themselves too. I’m always asking myself "How can I frame this in a way that helps you remember it clearly and honestly?" I look for the small details, the natural, unposed moments, and the energy of people in motion. That’s where the real beauty lives.

I graduated from Legacy High School with highest distinction and earned a certificate in Graphic Art and Photography from the State Board of Career and Technical Education. During my time there, I won four first place ribbons in school art shows for my graphic design work and played varsity basketball from my sophomore through senior year. I also participated in Peer to Peer, Inclusive Sports, and volunteered with Designer Genes and the Abused Adult Resource Center, which taught me the importance of connection and giving back to my community.
